One Light Master

“WHEREVER THERE IS LIGHT, ONE CAN PHOTOGRAPH” according to American photographer and modern art promoter Alfred Stieglitz (Read more at http://izquotes.com/quote/178563).

By definition, photography is the art or process of producing images by the action of radiant energy and especially light on a sensitive surface (such as film or an optical sensor) says the Merriam-Webster Dictionary ("Photography." Merriam-Webster.com. Merriam-Webster, n.d. Web. 22 Dec. 2017).

From these thoughts emanate the concept of ONE LIGHT MASTER: that of mastering the art of photography by getting started with one light.

"With a single light source and a reflector for fill, you have enough creative options in terms of lighting that you could go an entire lifetime with nothing more and still fill a diverse and varied portfolio. Technically the reflector is a second light source if you want to get into that, but it’ll be referred to as a reflector for our purposes here", says WORLDFAMOUS PHOTOGRAPHY, and we at One Light Master fully agree to that idea.

Indeed, we also believe that fantastic portraits can be shot by just one light given the example of Alex Cooke while writing for Fstoppers.

Of course, not all of our photographs will be using just one light, but our passion shall be the mastery of using a mono light to preserve and enjoy life's biggest moments, in the words of Indiegogo.

Mono light photography can be great. There are several reasons why mono light photography can be great:

Control: Monolights offer a high degree of control over the quality and direction of the light, which is particularly important for portrait and fashion photography. This allows photographers to fine-tune the lighting to achieve their desired look.

Portability: Monolights are compact and easy to transport, making them a popular choice for location shoots and on-the-go photography.

Consistency: Monolights are designed to provide consistent output, which is essential for achieving consistent results in a photo shoot. This makes it easier to achieve a uniform look, even when working with multiple lights.

Versatility: Monolights can be used in a variety of lighting setups, including key light, fill light, backlight, and rim light. This versatility makes them suitable for a wide range of photography genres.

Ease of use: Monolights typically come with a built-in power source and user-friendly controls, which makes them easy to set up and use, even for photographers who are just starting out.

Overall, mono light photography is a versatile and flexible lighting solution that can help photographers achieve a professional-looking result in a variety of shooting scenarios. Hence, for most promising amateur photographer including us, this could be one of the best ways to go for the moment.
